"Pushing the limits while staying creative and belonging to a family, that's why I Slackline."
- name: Moritz Purer
- date of birth: 02/02/1999

It all started when I was 13 years old, when friends of my parents set up a slackline on a camping vacation together. I tried again and again, but I couldn’t do more than a few steps at first. When we came home from our vacation, I discovered a few videos on YouTube where people were doing tricks on a slackline and even attempting somersaults. I was fascinated and decided to buy my own slackline. After that, the slackline finally got me hooked and I practiced my first tricks in the garden every day after school.
I realized that I could achieve a lot with my ambition, but it was just as important to me to never lose the fun in the process.
So it happened that 2 years later (2014) I took part in my first slackline contest at the Donauinselfest in Vienna and immediately took 2nd place. In the same year, I was also invited to Red Bull Airlines. As the youngest athlete, I was quite overwhelmed by the whole situation at first, but in the end I made it to the final and came 5th. I was more motivated than ever.
In 2015, I was able to land a trick that had never been landed before.
The “Backside 720 Freefall”, a double twist backwards from the butt to the chest. I was also able to land the first double backflip in the German-speaking world. When I’m not on the road, I spend most of my time training in a forest, not far from home.

Since Austria is known to have many mountains, my Slackline spot at home is also on a hill and quite sloping. Among slackliners, I am known as “The Slackliner who trains in the slanted forest”.
Filip Oleksik
"Slacklining gave me the chance to travel the world and meet amazing people."

My adventure with slacklining began when I was 14 years old. At that time I was doing many sports like dirt jumping on the bike, skiing and horse riding. It was at a horse camp that I first encountered the sport of slackline. Upon my return I persuaded my parents to buy my first set of Gibbon Jibline. Who could have guessed then that in a few years I would become a member of the Gibbon Team. At the time, everyone including myself thought that I would rig my line in the garden from time to time, but this was not the case. I trained every day after school and after just 3 months I took part in my first competition.
Since the beginning, I have been involved in two main varieties of Slacklines. Highline and Trickline. Highline quickly taught me concentration and fear control, and became the target of many projects and trips with friends. However, my athletic ambitions from the beginning were for the acrobatic form that is Tricklining. Over the years I have participated in national and international competitions. Very much influenced my career was the first edition of the Redbull Slackship, it was this competition that opened the big world to me. I started shows all over the world among others, in Singapore, the Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and the USA. Over time, I have to admit that achieving good results at competitions has become secondary for me. The most important thing is exploring and having unforgettable adventures with friends. Currently I am very keen on developing the discipline of Trickline in Poland and my strange dream has become to train a compatriot to such an extent that he would beat me in competitions in the future.

How we met
The first time our paths crossed was in 2015 in Poland at the Red Bull Slackship. However, it wasn’t until 2019 that we got to know each other better, as we worked together for almost 6 months in the same show on the same cruise ship “Harmony of the Seas”, both as slackline performers. It was a unique opportunity for us, not only because we developed a good friendship, but also because we learned a lot about artistic skills and choreography from top choreographers from the USA. We realized that we started to share another passion besides slacklining and that was performing, being on stage, telling a story and inspiring people. After our contract and a short break due to the pandemic, we continued to realize independent projects together every now and then until one day we decided to go all-in and Slacksensation was born!
Permanent show experience
The Fine Line
The show “The Fine Line” was our main show, which we performed 6 times a week. Together with top athletes who have already taken part in the Olympics or performed with Cirque du Soleil, for example, we provided 45 minutes of excitement, entertainment and emotion. The cast consisted of high divers, divers, dancers, synchronized swimmers, a 3D flying artist and 2 slackliners. The theatre was an open-air aqua theatre with a mobile stage at the back of the ship.
Big Daddy's Hideaway Heist
At a swanky 1950s resort, a cunning burglar has made off with a lot of jewels, and the staff at the Hideaway Resort must take the audience on a high-flying adventure to solve the crime of the century. This show took place 2x a week during the day. While we also performed on a highline in our main show, this show was limited to Tricklines, but it also contained many acting and dancing elements for us.
Our featured guest artist
As we also offer a trio show act with live music, the following artist fits in perfectly with us. Zofia has years of cello experience and by playing an electric cello her music harmonizes perfectly with our acrobatic performance and offers the right mix of calm melodic elements and powerful bits.
Zofia Bętkowska
"For me music is a universal language where I can communicate with the whole world and meet interesting people."
- name: Zofia Betkowska
- date of birth: 29/12/2002
- place of birth: Krakow, Poland
- playing cello since: 2009
- academic background: Academy of music
When I was 6 years old, I got into music school. I wanted to play flute or piano, but the school offered something completely different – cello. I wasn’t particularly happy about it, but my parents thought it was a good idea. Today I thank them very much for this. Now I love playing cello!
I am trained in classical music and play in several orchestras. However, I have always been equally good at pop music, which was taught to me by my father, a jazz saxophonist. So today I use my classical and electric cello to combine musical genres. Playing the cello gives you enormous possibilities: pop, rock, jazz, classical music. Nothing limits me musically!
- Concerts all over Europe as a concertmaster in the Orchestra of the University of the Commission of National Education in Krakow
- Projects with the Beethoven Academy Orchestra
- Concerts as part of the Film Music Festival in Krakow
- Fresco Sonare chamber orchestra
- I am currently studying at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow, Poland

I live in the center of Krakow and I travel around the city on an electric scooter, and I have a large, burgundy cello bag on my back. My friends laugh at me because they can’t actually see me behind the cello case! In fact, from the back it looks as if the cello itself was riding the scooter!
